Directions to Kent
State University
From I-76, take the Kent/Route 43 Exit (exit 33) and proceed north to Route 261. Turn right (east) onto Route 261. Proceed 1/4 mile to Campus Center Drive. Turn left onto Campus Center Drive and follow it to the stop sign. Make a right at the stop sign and proceed to the next stop sign which is Summit Street. Turn right onto Summit Street and proceed to the first traffic light which is Loop Road. Turn left onto Loop Road. Proceed to the first stop sign which is Rhodes Road. The Kent Ice Arena is on the corner of Rhodes and Loop Road. Turn left off of Loop Road and come around the backside of the arena.
From I-80 (Ohio Turnpike), use exit 187 (Streetsboro). After the toll booth, proceed straight (follow the Ravenna sign) onto Route 14 traveling southeast, past Route 303 to Route 43. Turn right (south) on Route 43 and continue for approximately six miles until the road comes to an end. You will now be at the intersection of Route 43 and Route 59. Make a left onto Route 59. Proceed on Route 59 (which will turn into Main Street around the University) for about 2 miles. The University will be on your right hand side. Towards the end of the University, you will come to a traffic light which will be Horning Road. Make a right onto Horning. Horning will make a 90 degree turn to the left after only 1,000 feet. After the bend take your first right which is Loop Road. Follow Loop about 1/2 of a mile and the rink will be on your right hand side. Enter the rink around the backside.
