Location

Kent State University
KSU is located in Northeast Ohio, in the city of Kent. The University is situated 30 miles southeast of Cleveland and is a two hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA. Within a 45 minute drive are two major airports, Akron-Canton Regional and Cleveland Hopkins International.

Local Attractions
There are many family attractions in the area to plan family vacations before and after the hockey school. In the Akron-Canton area is the National Football League Hall of Fame and Inventure Place (Inventors Hall of Fame.) In the Cleveland area is the world renowned Metro Parks Zoo and Rain Forest. There is Cleveland Indians baseball and a variety of museums and attractions for the family to enjoy.

For the families that are from out of town, but want to remain in the area for the week there are many hotels and campgrounds within a twenty minute drive from the campus. Hotel and campground information is sent to every applicant upon being accepted into the hockey school.
