Peewee / Bantam Training Camp

August 1, 2008OBJECTIVE
In our continuing efforts to improve the quality of our teaching
content, the Switaj Hockey School is offering a Peewee
and Bantam training camp.
Our curriculum is geared to the Peewee
and Bantam player and concentrates on skating, skill development, checking and positional play.
The Peewee/Bantam training camp is for players who
are born in the calendar years 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997.
THE PROGRAM
 | 3 hours of ice time daily. |
 | 1 1/2 hours daily of power skating. |
 | Teaching how to give and take a body check will be covered
throughout the week. |
 | Puck protection and angling will also be incorporated into teaching
checking. |
 | Players will be broken down by position and 30 minutes daily will be
spent on defensemen and forward drills during the skill development
session. |
 | Daily 30 - 45 minute dry land workout. |

LOCATION
Winterhurst Ice Rink is one of the finest ice area facilities in Northern Ohio.
Winterhurst is home to three prominent area High School teams: Lakewood, Bay
Village and St. Edward High Schools. It is conveniently located in Lakewood, Ohio at
the Warren Rd. exit off of I-90, and can be reached in approximately 30 minutes or less
from most locations in the Cleveland area.
EQUIPMENT
Each participant must be equipped with a full set of approved
hockey gear. Approved helmet, face mask and mouth guard and
required. |
